Workshops
Welcome to Sprout Arts Artist in Residence 2026, featuring local father and daughter creatives, Crispin and Esme Green who look forward to working together and develop the theme of Intergenerational and Interpersonal Influences.
"The residency offers us the space and time to come together and have an integrational dialogue through art, reflecting on family, environment and community interactions and what shapes us, while at the same time providing a platform for local people to become involved and make their own contributions."
Intergenerational stories of Place, Heritage & Connection
Week 1: PLACE
Within our community conversations, we are not only looking at interpersonal connections, but also connections to environment and systems. We want to speak to long term residents reflecting on changes in the area, what memories and stories they hold that tell the history of the area. We will ask how has local environment shaped family identity? We would also like to create an interactive creative memory wall throughout the residence where locals pin memories.
Week 2: HERITAGE
Exchange and response, co-working
Week 3: CONNECTION
Collaborative integration and workshops for community
Week 4:
Bringing the journey together and a final showing of process–based exhibition
